Welcome to the Zipline Race!!
In this activity, kids were asked to create a device capable of carrying an object(for example a lego figure) over a zipline. The winner is the team or individual who moved their object over the zipline three times the fastest.

When I was first presented with this challenge, I was stumped and could only think of a single device. So when I saw these kids create 2 -3 prototypes in just 15 minutes was outstanding, That just goes to show you the power of a child’s imagination.
Materials:
- String for the Zipline
- Duct Tape
- Scotch Tape
- 1 Paper Towel Roll
- 2 Rubber bands
- 2 Popsicle Sticks
- 2 Paper Clips
- 1 Lego Figure (The object can be anything you want)
Procedure:
- Set up the Zipline using Duct tape against a wall of about 4 feet
- Give the kids 15 minutes to plan and create their devices
- RACE!!!
